    Satara/Groeikas By Amfi

    Back in the days, my roots represented growth and development; I was the symbol of sun, light and life. It's time to bring these old meanings back in today's life. That's why I'm here in the Groeikas by AMFI. I want to grow into the tree of life; a tree that represents growth, fertility and The Life of mankind. But I can't do that all by myself. I need everything and everybody to help me do so. And with every drop of energy my roots will grow deeper into the soil and my branches will reach wider into the sky. I grow constantly in the Groeikas by AMFI. Products come and go, as my roots and branches reach further through the store and beyond. I am happy here in by AMFI’s Groeikas, I am growing to become the tree of life.

    Do you recognize that curious feeling when you walk alone in the darkness and see people in their cosy living room drinking hot chocolate and watching TV? Who are these people? What keeps them busy? You wish to be invisible for a second and spy in their living room, which is one of the most story telling rooms of the house. Once I was spying on my neighbour, another AMFI student. She was designing and sewing a cool new kind of jeans. This inspired me to get my sewing machine, which I had dumped in the attic, to create some beautiful pieces of my own.

    Porcelain Papillon

    The Porcelain Papillon

    An abundance of butterflies, captured in their multitude of shapes and forms. They are the inspiration for the hour glass, body conscious designs that will flatter this seasons catwalk; strict shapes that create a tribute to the figure. They reflect the wearer: a woman in control. Heavy knits and leather are used to create a closed look, while faux fur and printed silk are used for vulnerable detailing. The colors ruby, champagne, ochre and black give the collection its fluttering shimmer.

    Pets Hop

    When I was little, I used to go to the petshop every week. They had all kinds of animals locked up in a cage. I was always hoping to discover a new kind of species, something wild and scary. But never found it... My wish is a petshop where I can shop my own animal, just the way that I want it to be. With the head of a tropical bird, Bambi’s body, a tale from a tiger and feet like a zebra. Oh and I heard that they have rabbits who can glow in the dark.. I want my animal to glow in the dark too. And when I throw a ball, it has to catch it!

    Flowing silhouettes, refined tailoring and artisan detailing from the starting points of the seventh collection of INDIVIDUALS. The designs are a modern take on the self-confidence of woman who have learned to become themselves. The colours; eggshell, clay and skin give a romantic and fragile feel to the mature collection. But looks are deceiving; raw honesty is the evidence of growth.
